• Squelch Control - Reduces or eliminates background noise in the absence of an incoming signal. Allows you to selectively filter long range transmissions and other radio interference.
• Remote Speaker Jack - An external speaker jack located on the rear panel, which can be used for remote monitoring.
• Instant Channel 9 - Immediately gives you access to emergency channel 9.
• Bright/Dimmer Switch - This switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the channel readout LED, signal strength meter and TX/RX indicator for night driving conditions.
