To monitor APCO 25 Digital Systems you must purchase this BCi25D Digital Card which fits both the BC250D and the BC785D Scanners

The BCi25D is discontinued and is no longer available from Communications Electronics or Uniden.

The APCO 25 BCi25D card has been discontinued. The reason for this is the new scanners, such as the BCD996T featured here: http://www.usascan.com/files/bcd996t.cfm
have the card circuitry already built in, therefore there is no need for the BCi25D card. Also when adding the card to the older model BC785D or BC250D scanners, the BCi25D card will not be able to monitor the new 9,600 baud digital standard. Accordingly, the older, discontinued scanners are now functionally obsolete for reception of digital signals on new trunking radio systems, even with the addition of the BCi25D card.
