The Bearcat
TrunkTracker BC895XLT is the world’s first scanner capable of tracking
a selected radio transmissions as it moves across a trunked radio system.
Now it’s easy to monitor fleets and subfleets in analog trunked radio
systems. The BC895XLT can also work as a conventional scanner. This
300-channel, programmable base station scanner provides scanner users
with uninterrupted monitoring capabilities of Type I, II, IIi and hybrid
trunking systems. One of the biggest obstacles in coordinating emergency
response has been the increasing use of trunking radio systems in business
and public service agencies throughout the U.S. and Canada. This makes
it nearly impossible to track a conversation as it moves within a trunk
system from frequency to frequency. During a disaster, it’s essential
to be able to monitor response agencies for proper coordination. You
can enhance your national, state and local security preparedness by
being able to continuously monitor conversations even though the message
is switching frequencies. Not compatible with AGEIS, ASTRO, EDACS, ESAS
and LTR systems.
FEATURES:
- 300 Channels - You can program each of
these memory channels to store one frequency.
- 12 Bands, 10 Banks - Includes 12 bands
with Aircraft & 800 MHz plus Service Scan. Ten banks of thirty
channels are useful for grouping similar frequencies and selectively
scanning these groups.
- Trunk Scan and Scan Lists - Scan for activity
on one trunk group or create lists of multiple groups to scan like
police, fire, emergency, etc.
- Trunk Search - Search for and monitor all
the groups within a trunked system. Lockout unwanted groups during
the search and save other groups to scan lists.
- Trunk Lockout - Lockout groups you don’t
wish to monitor, (including data groups) from the trunked system.
- Trunk Delay - Apply a five second delay
to trunking groups so that both sides of conversations can be heard,
even if the trunking frequencies change between replies.
- One-Touch-Weather - Automatically scans
all national weather channels with a single touch.
- Weather Alert - Automatically scans all
national weather channels and alerts you to severe weather warnings.
- Turbo Scan - This lightning-fast technology
enables the BC 895XLT to scan and search nearly 100 channels or
steps per second. The BC 895XLT scans about five times faster than
any standard scanner in the United States.
- Built-in CTCSS - The BC 895XLT comes equipped
with CTCSS tone board. “The tone board also acts as a CTCSS tone
reader!”
- RS232C Port - Allows computer-control of
the scanner via optional hardware.
- V.F.O. Control - The V.F.O. (Rotary Tuner)
feature enables rapid and easy selection of channels and frequencies.
- 10 Priority Channels - Keep track of activity
on your most important channels while monitoring other transmissions.
- Signal Strength Meter - View the relative
strength of the signal you’re receiving.
- Auxiliary Tape Output - The BC 895XLT allows
you to record your favorite transmissions while you’re away.
- Automatic Store - This feature automatically
searches out and stores frequencies to an available channel location
in any bank and automatically returns to find the next active frequency.
- 30 Trunking Channel Indicator Annunciators
- Shows you real-time trunking activity for an entire trunking
system.
- Manual Channel Access - Go directly to
any channel without stepping through other channels.
- Memory Backup - Retains frequencies entered
more than 3 days without batteries or during a power failure.
- Programmable Search - This feature allows
you to find new frequencies in any of the bands.
- Channel Lockout Key - This feature allows
you to skip over channels you don’t currently want to hear.
